We have followed the low cost airlines' example and stripped out any extras that our customers don't value and don't need. For example, we don't have reps in resort, but we do have representative offices for emergencies. We don't offer organised transfers, as we prefer to give you the choice of booking a taxi or car hire to get you quickly and efficiently to your accommodation.

We have also made sure to keep our administration costs as low as possible. We operate from rural offices, so we don't have to pay for expensive property rental. We have outsourced many of our administrative functions to specialists in their field, which means we only pay for the services that we need, and don't employ people we don't need off season.

Our emphasis on driving down costs means that we can offer you the best value hotels and apartments around. We're so confident of that, that all our accommodation prices are backed by a price guarantee.

The lowcost travel group of companies is run by a great team of travel industry specialists with serious and relevant experience, both in the UK and in the resorts we feature.

Founded by Paul Evans, formerly the MD OF First Choice holidays, and an Airtours director for many years, the vision is to give all the main holiday destinations on a fully flexible basis, at a much lower cost, available to independent travel agents or consumers alike.

The company is backed by venture capital funds managed by Close Venture management Limited, part of Close Brothers Group Plc and various European hotel and travel companies, which gives us both financial strength and access to some of Europe's most sought after accommodation.

The team behind the lowcost travel group of companies has over 350 years of combined experience in all areas of travel. Between them, they have worked with most of the industry's big names including Thomson Holidays, First choice, Saga, Airmiles, Thomas Cook, Mytravel, Lastminute.com, Holiday Autos, Opodo and others.

Together the team has come together to create a company with a difference. Instead of exaggeration and brochure speak; our descriptions are straightforward and honest. Whilst we will constantly add new hotels, villas and apartments, every one is there for a reason - and we will drop any whose quality standards fall, or where we can no longer offer truly great value.

To do that requires, really great knowledge of what's available and where - and our combined years of experience has given us just that.
